New for 2026 are opportunities for charitable groups to participate as aid station managers. We are looking for reliable groups who can provide people to help at the 12 runner aid stations on the course.

It’s not terribly difficult work, and might just be a really fun time. You’ll provide drinks and food to the runners as they come by. Offer encouragement or support as needed. Write some stuff down. Answer questions from sweaty people.

We are very grateful for the help that our volunteers provide and encourage all to patronize their groups as much as possible.

We are offering a stipend to supporting groups. While we don’t yet have the full amount, we intend to disburse all sponsorship funds we receive as well as a portion of our net profits.

What we ask of you:

A solid commitment to provide enough people, usually four, to fully man the aid stations during the listed times. You may have more people if you like.

You will check in with the race director at Tussey Ski before and after your shifts.

Bring chairs or a canopy if you like.

You will keep track of runners as they come through, so we can find people if we need to.
